The UEone is a look into the future of our streetscape and works towards many of the best practice design standards for enhancing the public realm. We are very aware of the need to develop charging infrastructure across the city over the coming years and this innovative solution helps to drastically reduce street furniture which improves aesthetics and improves accessibility. As a Council we need to help those without off-street parking to be able to transition to EVs to achieve our Climate Emergency targets. The UEone allows us to overcome these issues and looks great in the process.
As the only PAS 1899:2022 compliant, flush-fitting chargepoint, the UEone retractable is an excellent addition to accessible EV charging infrastructure for disabled motorists. The 80cm socket height, one handed cable insertion mechanism and auto retract feature makes the charger easy to use. The design also reduces trip hazards, street clutter and the likelihood of vandalism to the unit. Disabled Motoring UK recommends the UEone to local authorities for on and off-street charging provision.
